Words hold great power. Sentences are mighty. Written matter is remarkable. Verses in foreign languages are spellbinding. As we like to share this incredible power that words hold with others, in 2010 we came up with the idea to create Alingua. Every day, we use our best endeavours to meet the expectations of our clients – hundreds of enterprises and thousands of private individuals. In this pursuit, we are aided by our continued personal and professional development and our focus on the needs of others. The quality of our services has earned the recognition of the editorial team of the “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna” daily newspaper and received a nomination in the “Service” category in the nationwide “Quality of the Year 2011” programme. Our accomplishments to date have not made us complacent – on the contrary, our achievements encourage us to invest in the further training of our employees and to strive for the highest standards in customer service. One of the recent successes of Alingua is being awarded the ISO 9001:2008 certificate by URS, a British company which is a part of the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) – the only accreditation body in Great Britain authorised to provide certification services. Our quality management system which complies with ISO 9001:2008 meets stringent criteria which are recognised both in Poland and elsewhere in the world, in other EU countries and in the United States. Our clients and business partners accept this standard as an assurance that Alingua is an extremely well-organised and credible enterprise for which the quality of services provided is of the utmost importance. In 2016, Alingua also became a member of BNI – the world's largest business networking organization. As one of only a few translation agencies in Poland, Alingua is therefore granted the opportunity to build its market position based on lasting, dependable and valuable business relationships. We pride ourselves in sharing our knowledge and expertise in business with a group of several hundred entrepreneurs and business partners in Poland and abroad. In our work, we share not only the power of words, but we also strive to support those in need financially. We gift 1% of the income from completed translations to Alingua's foundation “Pomocne Słowo” (Helpful Word).
