I am thrilled to be applying for the opportunity to become a Translator.

I completed received a bachelor's degree in Linguistics(Translation and Translation Studies) from International Ala-Too University, specializing in English, Turkish and Russian. Beyond this, I can also speak Kyrgyz and German. Indeed, I regularly read books in all these languages to maintain my fluency in them. I am also able to read in Kazakh. I believe that I have a decent conversational grasp of these latter four languages.

I am also able to work as consecutive interpreter. During summers, I worked as consecutive interpreter in our local sewing factory with a German designer, translating speeches and special terms from German/English to Russian/Kyrgyz. I can also translate more colloquial material, like staff emails, political documents, advertisement. Also, I have experience of audiovisual translation and making subtitles. I translated films from Kyrgyz/Russian to English and vice a verse.

I am deeply grateful for your time and attention in considering me for this position. Foreign language skills are immensely useful in a complex, interconnected and global business world.
