I've been doing science-technology translations for about 17 years at an academic institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences. My translation topics include, but not limited to, chemistry, pharma, dietary supplements, medicine (surgery; Ear, Nose & Throat), clinical trials, energetic materials, biotechnology, bio-based materials, polymers, construction materials, materials testing, veterinary, pet nutrition and care, nanotechnology, aerospace, patents, marketing brochures, and many more.

I’ve translated and helped researchers to have published over 300 research papers in a good deal of different peer-review journals hosted by giant publishers such as Elsevier, Springer, Nature, Wiley and the others.

The favorite handbook of mine is the ACS Style Guide on Effective communication of scientific information of the American Chemical Society, 3d Ed., 2006.
